Excel Workshop
Posted by Matthew Mann on September 20th, 2007Making data useful
With the help of computers, many business processes are now in electronic format inundating us with data.  The abundance of data is sometimes frightening and appears unmanageable and useless. With that said, Inertia will schedule a two hour Excel workshop in October for its clients to go over some basic tools to manage data. If you’re interested, please email your client development manager. To make the workshop more effective, there will a limited number of computers available during training, so please bring your own laptop if available.
Workshop Outline:
Understanding and creating a database
Useful excel functions to clean data and to analyze data
o Lookup and reference functions
o Date and time functions
o Text functions
o Logical functions
o Pivot table
o Filter
o Formatting worksheet

Just in case, will this also be a webinar?
I am an Excel moron. Do I need more than very basic skills to do this or should I send my genius wife to get more out of the workshop?

Yes, Patrick, the workshop will be available through a webinar. This is a workshop to help basic users.
