					<description>Actually, I believe you missed the most salient point of RSS for wineries. Wineries, as such, as not frequently updated sites, therefore, they don't present the consumer the need to visit a winery site very often. Most probably, they end up going to their site because they heard about a wine from somewhere (friend, another site, etc.)

Where wineries can benefit is to maintain a constant personal connection with the customer by pushing updates to them. This could be in the form of news, marketing content, special offers, etc. It's not just a point of syndication, but more useful for the customer to stay connected with their winery of choice.

From the customer's viewpoint, the information comes to them, and so they don't have to go searching for it.</description>
