This is the last month to participate in the olive festival in Sonoma, that started in December. A variety of events located throughout the Sonoma valley in various locations from wineries to restaurants.

The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition (SFCWC) – Fort Mason Center’s Festival Pavilion
February 16, 2008 – Fort Mason
Cost: $70 at the door
Saturday: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
This event offers tasting from award winning wines, judged by industry professionals.

30^th Annual Barrel Tasting – Russian River, Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys.
03/01/2008 & 03/08/2008
Cost: $20 per weekend
This is a great event to be able to taste wine directly from the barrel and be able to purchase wine for future sale. Since so many wineries participate you may want to plan on tasting both weekends and mapping out the wineries you want to visit prior to the day. Tickets are only $20 per weekend.
